Re: "Run External Command"Date: May 7, 2008I can suggest the following gradual approach to finding a solution:

Implement the external command you wish to run as a batch file (with no arguments at first, specify the values in the batch file itself)

Verify that the batch runs correctly from the command line

Test the batch using Run External Command

Add arguments to the batch file (one at a time), and repeat 2-3

When an error occurs take a look at the log file in work/logs/tersus.log, and if that is not helpful try using pipes in the batch file to capture more meaningful errors.

Note that as far as I know network operations in Windows XP as of SP2 have been mostly disabled by default, and that might be the cause for your specific problem. Regards,David See Also:
