Download the Linux archive (.tgz), available here.

Open a terminal

Untar the archive to your home folder, using the following command (replacing [archive] with the appropriate path):

$ tar xvfz [archive]

Change to the Tersus folder created by the archive:

$ cd Tersus

Execute the Tersus executable:

$ ./Tersus

The archive includes everything needed to start modeling immediately (Embedded JRE, Eclipse Platform Runtime, Sample applications, Tutorial).The Linux archive may occasionally include an earlier version, of Tersus. However, when installation is complete, and the studio is launched, it will automatically check for updates and guide you through the required download and installation process.The archive has been tested on Ubuntu 12.04, but should work on other versions and distributions.See Also:
