That's what I thought but it doesn't work. I've also tested it using two simple text input fields, in case it was the Tabbed Pane that was the problem, but it doesn't work there either. It doesn't help that there is no documentation on the Focus display action. I have Focus and the ancestor reference in a separate Action inside the <On Key Up> action; the sub-action is triggered by the output from the <Yes> exit of a Math/Equal element, which fires when the maximum number of characters has been entered. I have also tried having the Focus action in the <On Key Up> action itself with an extra trigger - same result!
I am setting focus to the Display/Text Input Field/<Value> on the second tab. These are the errors I get:
if I don't initialize the second text input with a value (or if I initialize it with a text constant with a null <Value>) - nothing happens.
if I initialize the second field with some text before setting Focus to it, "An error has occurred: 'viewNode.focus' is null or not an object."
I tried setting the focus to the text input field itself but then "An error has occurred: Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus."

David Beattie
