Looks great, see also http://www.tersus.com/#Id=155 for an example of my timeline, it is possible to make a timeline also per day/week/etc. Maybe this could be combined.
At this moment I'm thinking to build a similar kind of calendar with the following options:
A table with all events
tabledefinition:eventnode, starttime, endtime, remarks, priority, publicyesno
A table with links to project(s), employee(s), contact(s) and relation(s):
tabledefinition: id, eventnode, eventtype (=project, employee, contact, relation), linknode (=projectid, employeeid, relationid, contactid )
In bold the unique key. With this I can create several views: ie. as logged in employee I can see all my events/appointments. But in the projectview, I can see all events/appointments for this specific project. And if I change something it is changed for all.
