Hello everyone,
I actively use Joomla's CMS to develop my sites and, recently, I started working with JS, XML, SOAP, etc. in an attempt to display Indeed.com's publisher XML feed directly on my site (as opposed to use an iFrame). However, this is a bigger task than I had an anticipated and has been to no avail, thus far.
During my research I came across Tersus and I'm truly enthralled because I was getting rather burnt out on unnecessarily, overly-complicated books. Furthermore, I've reviewed the WSDL article and the 'Connecting to an External Database' article, but they have left me with a few questions.
Primarily:
Indeed.com doesn't provide a WSDL file to import, so how can I instruct Tersus to
Submit the query to a 3rd party server without displaying a phishing warning,
Allow visitors to post to the 3rd party server (to post new jobs),
Receive the response and display it within my CMS's main content pane.*
* I believe this is fairly well covered in the guides already, except I have yet to see anyone integrate these web apps into a CMS, of any form, let alone break free from the Tersus default CSS.
So, is the publisher / modeler able to specify the CSS for the web apps built using Tersus?
After the development of the web app, I plan on simply uploading it and referencing it within my CMS's templates (so that I can quickly / effectively develop several of my domains).
I understand that I'm asking a lot, and for this I do apologize. I don't expect anyone to post a step-by-step Tut on how to go about this, but if you could reference some guides and libs that I can import (so I don't reinvent the wheel ;-)... Then I'd ecstatic and truly grateful.
On that note, thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Dro Buddy
