Hello all,
A customer of mine is using Tersus in combination with the jCIFS NtlmHttpFilter to perform user authentication for our applications. In previous Tersus versions (<= tersus-server-1.0.44) this combination always worked, but after upgrading to Tersus 1.2.7 there are some weird problems:
If an user connects to an application the "Logged In"/"Welcome" box displays most of the times "Guest" (ie. the line <span id="header.welcome" class="topText3">Welcome <span id="header.userName"/>${user}</span> in welcome-nav-template.html)
Sometimes the correct username is displayed, but after a refresh (<F5>) "Guest" is reappearing. If using "Get Logged-in User", the application always get the correct logged in username.
Looking also at the debug messages of the NtlmHttpFilter we see that the user authentication succeeds.
NtlmHttpFilter: DOMAIN\xxx successfully authenticated against 0.0.0.0<00>/192.x.x.x
Environment:
jre1.5.0_16 + Tomcat 5.5.26 + Tersus 1.2.7 + jCIFS 1.2.7 or 1.2.19 fails jre1.5.0_16 + Tomcat 5.5.26 + Tersus 1.0.44 + jCIFS 1.2.7 or 1.2.19 succeeds
