The reason could be be that Tersus treats all numbers as floating point numbers, and with floating point arithmetic you have some accuracy problems.
However, even with floating point, 1+0+0 should be 1 so if you can describe an example where 1+0+0 = 0.9999999999 we will gladly look into it.
