Hi Youval,
Working in the development world I ran the potential idea of a "truly visual" iPhone / iPod Touch development tool past a few friends & colleagues, without mentioning Tersus. To say they were enthusiastic would be a huge understatement especially amongst those more used to Java, Python and dare I say .NET. Mostly they have little or no expertise in Objective C in their teams yet are under increasing pressure to develop for iPhone.
"Apple's SDK and dev tools are all free, why can't you just get on with it?". Management, eh? ;-)
Currently I don't know of any organization in my circle of contacts (even a couple of startups where funding is tight), that isn't addressing "iPhone versions" of their existing packages. Be-it simply extending the reach of their server-side products by producing a native iPhone app. or leveraging additional functional benefits of the devices themselves (GPS, accelerometer, camera...) and developing new features to take advantage.
Aside from just iPhone development; If I were a corporate who knew of a single tool for my enterprise that allowed me to develop server-side and for iPhone in one package, as opposed to getting skilled up, purchasing & supporting a range - I know which one I'd buy.
Kind Regards,
Steve
