Hi Smile,
Below an example of my Configuration.xml
<Application name="ERP Management System" rootSystem="ERP Management System/ERP Management System" authenticationMethod="none"> <DataSource name="jdbc/Main" driverClassName="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" username="root" password="PASSWORD" url="jdbc:mysql://URLmySQLserver/Databasename" validationQuery="select now()" /></Application>
I was wondering about a few things in your configuration:
1) Did you install mySQL on your localhost or on an other server? If on an other server, rename the url with the name or IP-adres of that server.
2) You are using username = root and I suppose password is made empty, could you connect via an other tool to this database, with this username and password? (Via ODBC-connector for example)
3) The name of the mySQL database has the same name as your Tersus application, is this correct. If so, there are spaces in it and is very long, could you try a shorter name for the database
4) After a change in the Configuration.xml did you make a refresh?
