It seems you're looking for something along the lines of Display/Simple Table, which automatically creates a 'card' view. Alas there isn't one, and you must model along the lines of my previous post.
Your "last record" problem probably stems with a missing repetitive property on some element along the flow creating the view. Check that all triggers/exits/processes/displays starting from the original query - which would by default output through a repetitive exit - should be repetitive.
To try and find the problem location, use with the visual debugging feature which will allow you to record an execution trace and then follow it along the model.
