How about the explanation in the reference manual on Database Update?

In this case, the action will act on the table whose name is the value received from the Table Name trigger at runtime.[...]
Btw.: Is it possible (or planned for future release) to pass a Map (maybe retrieved earlier with "Database Query") to "Database Update" to achieve a INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE of a Record described with the data of the Map (without explicit mapping from the Map to a concrete "Database Record" element or to concrete named Triggers of the "Database Update" element)?
