Re: Image display elementDate: Aug 18, 2009There's no point in placing the graphics in C:\Program Files\Tersus Visual Programming Platform\plugins\tersus.appserver_1.3.16\DefaultWebapp\images and you should only use the web folder, for the following reasons:

Once you upgrade your studio to a new version, tersus.appserver_1.3.16 will be discarded, and an alternate path (with the default tersus content) will override it (right now out stable version is 1.3.29, which means C:\Program Files\Tersus Visual Programming Platform\plugins\tersus.appserver_1.3.29\DefaultWebapp\images).

The tersus.appserver_1.3.16 folder applies to all applications developed in the same studio, which goes against differntiation of graphics in each application

When you deploy your applications using our server, you will always need to remember to copy the files to the equivalent directory under the server, whereas if you're using web it will be copied whenever you copy updates to the applciation itself.

The whole point of a project's web directory is to override and add to the contents of the tersus.appserver_[version]/DefaultWebapp. In runtime both folders are effectively merged, and if the same filename (in the same relative path) appears in both, the one in web takes precedence.Regards,DavidSee Also:
