Create a new Tersus project:

Select File -> New -> Tersus Project.
Enter a Project name for your new project: Twitter
Select the Template: iPhone Application
Press the Finish button.

In the model editor, zoom into <iPhone View>/Body.

Right click Body --> Add Element: Scroll Pane. Rename it to: Top Trends Screen.

Zoom into Top Trends Screen.

Right click Top Trends Screen -->Add Element: List.

1) Create Your New Project

Select File (1)->New (2)->Tersus Project (3) to open the New Tersus Project (4) wizard.
Enter a name of your choice (e.g. Twitter) (5) for your new project, select the iPhone Application (6) template and click Finish (7).

The studio opens the new project's model for editing in the Model Editor (on the right), while a list of projects, which includes pre-installed sample projects, is displayed in the Repository Explorer (on the left of the screen).

2) Use Your New Application

Click on the (

) Launch the application (1) button in the studio's main toolbar to load your application in the embedded Tersus Server and open it in a web-browser (2).

The application displays nothing yet, so let's model something to display.

3) Add your own modeling

We shall now add our own modeling to the application, creating a basic iPhone application with one screen.

Switch back to the Tersus Studio.
Zoom in to <iPhone View> by double clicking on the element. Now zoom into Body (1), Right click Body (2) and select Add Element (3) --> Scroll Pane (4)

Click on newly added Scroll Pane and press F2 on the keyboard to open the Rename window:
- Set the Element Name (local) (1) to: Top Trends Screen.
- Make sure the check the box near: Keep the model name and element name equal.(2) is checked.

Zoom into Top Trends Screen (again by double clicking on the element).
Right click Top Trends Screen and select Add Element --> List

Save your changes (through File->Save menu option, CTRL+S shortcut or the Save toolbar button).
Switch back to your web-browser window, which should refresh automatically.

You can now access the application from your iPhone. If you don't have an iPhone, you can see a preview of how the application will look on iPhone. Simply add "/iphone.html" at the end of the application's URL in your browser (e.g. go to http://localhost:8080/Twitter/iphone.html instead of http://localhost:8080/Twitter).

At this stage we only see an empty screen (except for a thin line at the top):
