This works partially in Firefox and GoogleChrome, it doesn't show the default text ie. the text area seems to be always empty. In IE8 you see a textarea in a textarea. The typed textstring doesn't appear in the <value> of the textarea
Further there are some problems with IE8 & textarea using height/width (see for ex. http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=1700275)
