Re: Can you explain to me ?Date: Mar 29, 2011In order to assist, I need to understand whether you're trying to create a Configuration.xml, i(.e. your app is running using the Tersus studio's embedded server), or a context file (the app is running in a standalone deployment server).As I explained previously II do suggest going the Configuration.xml root.Use the Configurator app to create the file, as follows:

In the General tab
Enter the Application_Name (= in the default case this is the project name)

In the jdbc/Main tab
Select MySQL as the Database
Enter the Username and Password you defined in MySQL (perhaps there are defaults defined by xampp)
Enter the Hostname (= the ip address or name of the machine on which you installed xampp - if this is the same machine as the one on which the Tersus studio is installed, use localhost)
Enter the Name (= the name of the database defined in mysql - also possibly a xampp default)

Switch to the Configuration File tab (the empty fields under the Context File can be ignored), and click the Create Configuration File (Embedded Server) button to create the file - you should be prompted to download the file (if you're not prompted click the Configuration.xml tab which should have appeared next to the Template tab, and copy the content to a Configuration.xml file created using a text editor.

Place the Configuration.xml file in your application's root directory, and restart the embedded server.Hope this helps.Regards,DavidSee Also:
