Since I couldn't get it to export the app on Mac, I decided to try it under Windows. I used my previously installed version of Tersus Studio and had it update itself. It currently reports the following specs.
Tersus Visual Programming Platform
Version: 2.0.3.1
Build id: 201102141359
I then proceeded to implement the Guestbook example for the second time. I'm a little surprised that a) Mobile View contains a <Body> that isn't mentioned in the tutorial. b) "Add Element" does not include a "Page" option, neither in the Mobile View, nor in the <Body> of the Mobile View. The palette includes far less items then on Mac. Since there was no page, there were also no buttons. I had to "borrow" buttons from the Display panel of the palette. Running the app under the Web browser, I see the two buttons, even though they are not lined up nicely in the iPhone emulator. Why the differences between the tutorial and the implementation? Is there any remedy? I'll update you with more results tomorrow.
