As implemented, the client-side (display) date format does not take into account client locale, and is hard coded by default to the format we defined: mmmm dd yyyy
It is currently possible to change the date part for any given application, by adding a web/settings.js file which contains the following line:
DATE_FORMAT='[format_str]';
[format_str] is our own implementation, but is not documented - if you want to, you could look how it is implemented in the formatDate function in
studio/plugins/tersus.appserver_[ver]/DefaultWebApp/scripts/popcalendar.js
Regards,
David
