Thanks. Main purpose of this, as you probably already figured out, is to reduce load on your server and get proxy to do heavy work. Especially if you are behind some slow internet connection having 128, 256 or 512 (if you are lucky) kbps upload stream .
Peer assisted networking should assist here even more. You will be able to load whole application from other users, except main page of course, which will have list of all available files for sharing in your application and correspondig cheksums.
Furthermore, peer assisted networking will alow posts, chat and streaming in different groups you or someone else define. And there will be (planed, but no guaranty) fallback for posts in Javascript if Flash is not available on the client side.
