This is strange, but I wonder if Tersus is really the culprit here.
The UPDATE statement quoted from the log seems consistent with a process using Database/Update plugin, which receives a Database Record in which the elements corresponding to created_on/updated_on fields are empty.
I suggest you try running the quoted UPDATE statement directly in the MySQL command line client (or another client), and see whether the results in the database are different, when Tersus is taken out of the picture.
