I'm not sure you saw my to your previous response (a few minutes before your last post) ... please provide a screenshot demonstrating what you're aiming for.
An example for storing images (such as icons) in the database and retrieving them to the display, using a Callable Service is available in the Examples sample application (File Library demo), bundled with the Windows installation (and also available for download @ http://www.tersus.com/#Id=114) more information on this implementation is available @ http://www.tersus.com/#Id=3411.
