Re: Tersus 2.1.8.2 announced stableDate: May 24, 2012Hi Jixiang.Regarding the chinese UI (Item 1), I can confirm a problem with the 2.1.8.2 stable installer with regards to Chinese localization. I have not found a solution yet which will enable me to create a new installer resolving this issue, but I can offer the following instructions on how to enable the Chinese localization post-install:

Run the studio

Select Help > Install New Software...

Add the Babel project update site by entering the url http://download.eclipse.org/technology/babel/update-site/R0.9.1/helios in the Work with field

Once the tree list populates, find the Babel Language Packs for eclipse tree, expand it and check the Babel Language Pack for eclipse in Chinese (Simplified) (93.35%) 3.6.0.v20111128075308 feature

Continue with the installation wizard, pressing Next > / Finish as required, and restart the studio when prompted.

After restart, the studio should run localized. If it doesn't make sure the the -nl zh option appears in Tersus.ini (or on the command line used to launch the studio). Regarding the localized samples.zip, I could find no problem there, and successfully imported (via File > Import > General > Existing Projects into Workspace), opened and run some of the localized samples (as well as the sample projects installed by default). I wonder whether the problem you encountered might be linked to a specific Windows version/configuration - I tested with Win 7, can you try a different version/configuration?Regards,DavidSee Also:
