From the fact you've posted your question as a reply to the description of the Get Mail plugins, I infer that you've probably tried to use it and encountered some problem.
Can you provide details of your attempt?
I presume you've double-checked the values provided for Host, User and Password (I recommend using some 3rd-party mail-client for that), so can you provide the other values specified in the Connection Details structure (Protocol, Folder, and Socket Factory fields)?
What was the response/error (please quote from the application log)?
