Are you sure there was no error reported?
Errors may appear in a separate dialog, or in red at the top of the export dialog (below the title).
Also look for the file export-log.txt in the application's root folder, accessible via the Navigator (open it via Window>Show View) which should contain details of the export attempt.
One last place to look for errors, is in the studio log, which can be opened via Help>About>Installation Details>Configuration>View Error Log.
