Modelling of database access from a phone app is no different from a desktop browser app. It is always accessed via a Tersus Server which runs a copy of the app and fields service requests from the client.
Web (browser-based) mobile app require no additional configuration in order for this to work, since the mobile browser (just like its desktop sibling) downloads the client application from the server on request.Native mobile app, in which the client app is pre-installed on the device to begin with, do require an additional, very simple configuration, providing the location of the server, as explained in http://www.tersus.com/#Id=5585 (and the sane fior iPhone in http://www.tersus.com/#Id=2820) - see Strategy 1 - Services modeled in the same application.

David
