Session timeout, which applies to the ongoing session maintained between client (browser) and server (tomcat). The session is of special significance when employing authorization, as it maintains the fact that a specific user is logged-in, with his assigned permissions.
The default for this timeout is 30 minutes and is maintained by tomcat, specified in tomcat's web.xml file, as explained here.

i read from here that by setting timeout to -1 effectively disables the timeout.However, after setting the timeout to -1, i noticed in the tomcat manager as seen below,
timeout for tomcat seem be set to -1 but for Tersus applications, its seem still taking the default of 30 mins. Are the Tersus application taking the disable timeout setting or still default at 30mins?Was wondering if there is some setting that we can include in the Tersus application context file to increase or disable the timeout.
