Trax is a global leader in retail execution solutions. Using its innovative image recognition technology, Trax receives shelf images taken in stores using a standard mobile device, and identifies the products on shelf. This enables its customers to monitor and quickly improve their in-store execution.
Trax has been using the Tersus Visual Programming Platform since 2011 to develop major components of its software solution:
· The Trax mobile app, which is used by sales agents of global manufacturers (companies like Coca Cola, Nestle and P&G) to capture images of their products in stores worldwide and send them for processing by Trax. The app is available on iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Mobile devices.
· A web reports application providing managers with detailed reports on store visits made by their sales agents (e.g. calculation of each product's share-of-shelf, based on the products identified in the analyzed images).
· Several web application for internal use of the Trax professional teams, used to manage data, define KPIs, monitor operations, etc.
All applications are deployed on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and offered as SaaS over the cloud.
