With regards to the Theme Editor, the truth is we have decided to remove it from the studio, as it has never proven to be useful as it is implemented, and are considering alternatives, though it seems that creation of stylesheets is still very much a text-editor-based affair, regardless of the development tool used to create the application itself.
As a minimal alternative, we plan to provide some basic information on using existing tools (such as the developer tools included with every major browser) to test CSS coded in the appropriate files using a text editor,
