There's no change, since tomcat-based basic authentication, basically functions as it should. Note that logout should occur iff browser history is completely cleared, or when the browser process is stopped. Closing all browser windows does not necessarily end the browser processes, so you should check in the task manager to verify it is really stopped.
One thing that has changed since the time of writing, is that we've added the Authorization application template, which implements modeled authentication (including Logout) similar to tersus.web - see additional info @ http://www.tersus.com/#Id=5694.
