Hi,Have question on if Timer is multi process or does it have to completethe previous Activity within the interval specified before it runs the activity again?Have done a bit of testing on this. For my case, as seen in diagram below, my Timer interval is one minute. As seen in the trace below, when my Activity completes within one minute,i can see multipe trace files, each generated a minute apart. When my Activity exceeds the interval of one minute, it seems that the systemis stuck trying to complete the Activity and no other trace file is generated at one minute interval. What my application is doing is the timer is periodically checking the status of a job queue. When it sees a job status is Queued, it switches the status to In Progress and proceeds to run the job. This works fine if it processes Queued jobs one at a time. However, i was hoping if i can process two or more jobs at a time. What i did was to check against a database variable on the number of jobs the application can process a one go. So if variable is set to 2, the application would aim to run 2 jobs at a time (ie process 2 Queued jobs)When the processing of first Queued job exceeds one minute interval, it seems that processing of the second Queued job would not start.Hope you can advise on above.ThanksCheersCliff
