Hello,
Can't find this with a search, so I apologize if this is already covered in the forums. I'm not as familiar as I'd like to be with all of MapTool's features, so bear with me if this is a somewhat uninformed question: is it possible for a MapTool macro to pass a data message to another Java application running on the same platform as the MT server? I'm interested in using Tersus to throw together a rough application to do some campaign level functions (which at first glance seems to be much easier than writing a bunch of macros), but I'd like to be able to use MT as the single player interface, and just pass events to this external program. Is this even possible in the current MT architecture? (If not, is it a Java limitation? I can just about spell Java, taken a class on it, but I've never developed with it, so I'm not familiar with the practical side of it's architecture).
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
