Seem like something is wrong on the system level of your computer. Of course, you can spend time to look thoroughly for the cause but personally i feel the fastest way is just to go for a format of your pc. Just treat it as a thorough clean up, then set up the Tersus Studio first.
Alternatively, you can just use Tersus Studio on a virtual machine which i have been doing. I find it very convenient using it the way across different PCs without having to set up everything over and over again across different pc.
Above are just my thoughts which hopefully can help you resolve the issue at hand quickly and move on.
