Changing colors and design in general can be accomplished using CSS, as explained in various pages on this site. See here for a list of pages.
Image display is discussed in these pages.
Printing is discussed in this thread. I recommend you pay special attention to this demo attached to one of the posts.
Regarding logging in, I identify no general problem logging in. I'll contact you directly and try to assist.
