Tersus: iPhone Application

iPhone ApplicationDate: Nov 16, 2009This is the built-in application template that is used when you create a new Tersus project and select the iPhone Application template:

Select File -> New -> Tersus Project

Enter a Project name for your new project: MyApp

Select the Template: iPhone Application

Press the Finish button

The model (Common/Templates/Systems/iPhone Application/iPhone Application) contains two top level display elements:

<iPhone View>: The iPhone GUI part of the application, which is displayed by default when the application is accessed from the iPhone's browser. Can be displayed in a desktop browser by appending /iPhone.html to the application's url.

<Desktop View>: The desktop GUI part of the application, which is displayed by default when the application is accessed from a desktop browser.

Modeling <iPhone View><iPhone View> contains everything you want to display on the iPhone's screen. This is your application, so you would like to model it freely.Typically you would model the following within <iPhone View>:

Optional: A header element (above Body). Right click <iPhone View>, select Add Element, and select Header.

Content elements (within Body):

Right click Body, select Add Element, and select the element you want to add (List or Scroll Pane).
Alternatively, you can drag elements from the palette (e.g. display elements from the Display section of the palette).

Optional: A navigation bar (below Body). Right click <iPhone View>, select Add Element, and select Navigation Bar.
