The attached project: Email Validation Example.tersus is a very simple demonstration, with an input field in which you enter an email address, and a button which checks the address entered.
See here for details regarding .tersus files (import instructions can be found at the bottom of the page).
Note that I suggested a very simple regular expression, which does not take into account the fact that some characters are illegal in email addresses - see here a discussion of email related regular expressions.
