Stage 1 - Creating the applicationDate: Oct 12, 2014PreparationsEventually our application will enable entering sales data (e.g. by importing an Excel file), but to save time now, we will start from a template project that already contains a database with fictive 1 year data (for 2014).The data refers to 3 product segments:

Appliances

Entertainment

Toys

The template project also contains 3 image files that will be used as icons for these segments:

Importing the Template Project

Download and save

SalesDemo.Template.tersus.

In your Tersus Studio, select File->Import...->Tersus Project File, and click Next >.

In the Import Tersus File dialog, select the saved SalesDemo.Template.tersus.

Press Finish (without renaming the project - it should remain SalesDemo).

In the Repository Explorer, double click the SalesDemo ptoject. If the import has been successful, the top level model will be opened in the Model Editor.

Initial Modeling

Double click <Mobile View> to zoom into it.

Rename Page 1 to Sales Data (right click on Page 1 and select Rename).

Zoom into Sales Data and then into Header. Delete the redundant Button (right click on Button and select Remove Element). Same for Prev.

Our applications doesn't contain much yet, but we can already see it. Save the application and press the launch button in the upper toolbar (

). The application will start within your browser:
